Feeling unwell?
You may well need to see a doctor at some point. The best news is that Koreans are passionate about their health, and the government strongly supports health care. The result is that even for us, this is really very cheap. (about 10,000 KW for a visit - cheaper with our Teacher medical card in some places).
Bear in mind that any doctor who speaks English will be familiar with medical terminology, but will be flummoxed by conversational English.
You will probably have to produce your medical card (when you get it), but even without it, health care is still really cheap. FYI - always take your ARC card with you whenever you go for any kind of medical appointment (possibly even your passport).
Here are 4 options for you to consider. All can easily be reached.
- Option 1 is in the GEC
- Option 2 & 3 are about 20 minutes away (in opposite directions)
- Option 4 is about 20-30 mins away
