Cycling
As mentioned before there are many opportunities for cycling in the fresh, clean open air here on Jeju. Check out these two options for buying bicycles here on the island. There may be more bike shops around, and you are encouraged to find them, even if only to get you out and about ;-)
Buying a bike
Bicycle tyre pumps.
This seems to be a problem here on Jeju! They are not easily found in stores although there are some in E-mart. G-market (online store) may also have some, Seoul probably has many, but here... not so much. They seem to be rather large in comparison to the little long thin pumps you find in other countries, and cannot easily be strapped to your bike to take with you.
BHA has some but you may not take them off campus - and because so many of our girls use them both during weekdays and at weekends, they are a bit worse for wear.
Most people seem to use the air pumps at gas/petrol stations to pump up their bike tyres as well as their car tyres. Obviously, this doesn't help you if you get a flat while out and about. Bringing a portable pump is highly recommended.
Just FYI - You are definitely advised to bring your own if you are bringing a bike with you, as you may well find that that the pumps you can get here do not have the same connection point to your tyres, i.e. they won't fit.
