GETTING A BUS
If you read and write Hangul simply click here or download 네이버 지도 from the app store; clicking on the bus stops will tell you how long you will have to wait for the buses, as well as their routes. If you can't, then check out the PDF of the 151 bus route and times; save it to your device for easy access. It is also printable, so you can always keep it with you on paper if you like.
The red 151 Express Bus will take its place. The fares for red express buses begins at 2000₩ to a maximum of 4000₩. Paying by cash is automatically 4000₩, whereas fares paid by a T-money card or activated credit card or ShinHan ATM card with T-money feature is calculated according to kilometres traveled (starting at a base of 2000₩ and then increases of 500₩ for every 5KM traveled).
Going towards Jeju, the 151 ends its service at the stop after the airport, which is Jeju Bus Terminal. Coming back to the GEC, it goes through Moseulpo and ends up at Moseulpo Bus Terminal, where the ferry terminal is.
The Blue 253 Normal All-stop Bus will also be an option, with a flat rate of 1,200₩ or 1,150₩ with a T-money card. This particular All-Stop bus does not stop at the airport.
Paying for you bus rides
Even though it is a cheap way to travel, it is even cheaper to travel on buses when using a top-up card.
T-money cards (bus pass/card that you can top-up) are easy to get, from the lovely men and women of GS25 or CU. The nearest ones to the heart of the GEC is the CU near the Paris Baguette outside BHA Gate 3, the GS 25 at the end of Raon, and the GS25 and CU at Canons.
It's a very simple process. Simply purchase one from either store (between 2000-6000₩ depending on design) and don't forget to top up your card with cash on a regular basis.
Alternatively, if you have a Korean credit card or a ShinHan ATM card, you can check with the bank to make sure the T-money feature is activated. T-money cards work on almost all-forms of transport Korea-wide. You can use them the same way you would use a bus card.

To buy a bus card - Any CU and any GS25 sells these, and you can top up here too. The nearest ones to the heart of the GEC is the CU near the Paris Baguette outside BHA Gate 3, the GS 25 at the end of Raon, and the GS25 and CU at Canons. It's a very simple process.
If you have a ShinHan bank ATM card - you can use this as a bus card! just swipe it as you get on the bus, and swipe it as you get off. Your account will be charged accordingly ;-)
By the way, a bus stop can look different in different areas of Jeju. Of course there the classic bus shelter type stops, but they can also look like this... (this one is in Moseulpo).
